Jo watched with a lump in her throat as Dean left her side to go and speak with the nurse at the front desk, him returning with a ghost of a smile on his features helped to a certain degree and she let out a sigh of relief at the news he brought with him. Taking his hand she entwined their fingers together, pressing her face into his arm as he led the way into the Doctors office.
Doctor Williams greeted them at the door as Jo asked whether it would be possible for her mother to be present during the consultation to which he agreed to and welcomed them into his office. The lump in her throat arose again as he told them to take a seat besides his desk and Jo noticed that Jamie was no longer in the room.
"Miss Harvelle and Mr Winchester, we will need to run further tests on your son but with the examinations which have been undertaken we believe your son is suffering with Pyloric Stenosis - a blockage in the stomach that makes it hard to digest food which is what has caused the high temperature and non bilous vomitting. You did the right thing Miss Harvelle by ringing the emergency services for him to be transferred here." Standing from his seat Doctor Williams came to sit on the table.
"From what I have told you is there anything you would like to ask?"
