"He will be under general anethsia so there's always a risk with that, but it's minimal. I've treated him since he was born and I believe this is not going to be an issue." He comes around and sits on the end of his desk and reaches out to take her hand.

"He's going to be fine, Jo. Your little boy is strong and this isn't uncommon. We'll fix him right up and he should be able to go home this evening or tomorrow morning at the latest." Doctor Williams assured her in a fatherly voice.
