All too soon for both parents the nurses came in and took Jamie for his surgery. It was a long and tense hour and a half before their son was returned to them. The Doctor walked in with the gurney carrying their precious baby and grinned at the parents and grandparent.

"It was a 100% success. No complications and he came out of the anesthesia with no adverse effects. If you're up for it would you be willing to feed him, Jo? I dare say he's hungry."

Dean let out a breath he wasn't aware he was holding at the Doctor's explanation. He was relieved Jamie was going to be just fine.
